I was contacted by an artist from the North East of Scotland, who kindly requested permission to paint one of my photographs ('Beauty Is The Thing With Wings'). I was happy to oblige and this copy of the painting is the result. Adele Mackie is an amateur artist who sells some of her work locally and also some prints online.

The Fox Magazine to the left is that of the Ilchester Estate of Melbury. A bi-annual magazine that shows the events, accomplishments, trials and tribulations of the previous six months. I was asked to produce an image that could be used as a wrap around, front and back image for the magazine. My 'Swans In The Mist' photo was the chosen image.

The image here, 'Like Water Off A Swans Bill' was chosen by Abbotsbury Tourism to be the main cover image for their 2013 Abbotsbury Swannery leaflet. A request that I was very happy to oblige to and personally very proud of, as this is one of the most important means of attracting people to visit the Swannery.

This collection of imgages was used by African Conservation Experience (ACE), a voluntary based organisation that provides enthusiastic people the opportunity to experience wildlife and conservation in Southern Africa. My fiance and I visited Botswana in 2012 through ACE, where we helped study elephant migrations and herd dynamics, predator movements, conducted game counts and bird surveys. We were also taught how to identify and track these animals whilst learning vital skills on how to survive in the African bush. After we returned from our trip, the organisation asked me to write about my experiences and requested some of my favourite photographs that I had taken. The write up to the left is the result and this was displayed on their official website.

The summer of 2012 was one of the wetest on record, with seemingly endless rainfall. At the Abbotsbury Swannery we lost a few nests and eggs due to very high tides and excessive rainfall but despite this the overall hatching went very well. A reporter from Bournemouth University was writing an article about the flooding and how it may affect the birds at Abbotsbury. My cygnet photograph, 'Sleepy Cygnets' was used as the main image for the article.

In 2008 the Dorset Wildlife Trust collated the results from a survey on Water Voles within the county. The Abbotsbury Swannery in Dorset was one area where the Water Vole had made a noticble return after ten years of absence. As a result of this feat, I was asked to capture this now protected mammal on camera from within the Swannery. The article to the left shows the findings of the survey and my 'Water Vole' photograph as the main image.
